Paul Spencer

Technical Associate

Paul has greater than 30 years of experience in the biomass heating sector. As an engineer he has serviced, installed and problem solved boilers all over Europe. He has a deep knowledge of monitoring and controls for boiler systems. He understands what it takes to get an efficient and well-run biomass system with minimal down-time and has led a number of projects to get difficult boilers through RHI accreditation including solving heat metering problems.

Alongside Stewart Boyle he is spearheading our work on a 2-year EU project ‘Optiwood’ that aims to improve the performance and efficiency of biomass boiler systems.
